MEP and Structural Engineering for a Veterinary Clinic in Mansfield, TX

Project Overview

InnoDez Engineering provided a comprehensive range of engineering services for a new veterinary clinic located at 1935 FM157 in Mansfield, Texas. The project included MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineering, structural engineering, and COMcheck compliance. The veterinary clinic is a stand-alone building constructed with a wood frame and concrete foundation.

Unique Design Challenges

  • Specialized Requirements: Veterinary clinics have specific requirements for HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems to accommodate the unique needs of animal care.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for both animals and humans is paramount in a veterinary clinic. InnoDez had to design systems that met stringent health and safety codes.
  • Efficiency: Veterinary clinics often have long operating hours and need to be efficient in their operations. InnoDez designed systems that would optimize energy consumption and minimize downtime.

InnoDez’s Innovative Solutions

  • Specialized MEP Systems: InnoDez designed MEP systems that were tailored to the specific needs of a veterinary clinic. This included HVAC systems with adequate ventilation and temperature control, specialized plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems with sufficient capacity for diagnostic equipment and surgical procedures.
  • Safety and Sanitation: InnoDez incorporated design features to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. This included selecting materials that were easy to clean and disinfect, designing appropriate ventilation systems, and providing ample space for animal care.
  • Efficiency and Sustainability: InnoDez implemented energy-efficient measures to reduce operating costs and minimize the building’s environmental impact. This included using high-efficiency HVAC equipment, LED lighting, and a building automation system.

Project Outcomes

InnoDez’s comprehensive MEP design veterinary clinic in Mansfield, Texas, successfully addressed the unique challenges of the project and delivered a functional, efficient, and safe building. The clinic is now equipped with MEP systems that meet the specific needs of animal care, while also ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for both animals and humans.
