InnoDez was tasked with providing comprehensive MEP engineering services and a COMcheck Energy Compliance Report for a bowling center located at 5501 Commercial Ave, Raleigh, NC. The project involved significant upgrades to the kitchen and bar areas, as well as the conversion of existing restrooms to meet ADA standards.

Scope of Work:

• Kitchen Enclosement and Bar Improvements: The kitchen area was redesigned to feature a new equipment layout, transitioning to gas-powered appliances. Similarly, the bar area received an updated equipment layout to enhance functionality and service efficiency.

• Restroom Upgrades: Two existing restrooms adjacent to the storage area were converted into ADA-compliant restrooms, ensuring accessibility for all patrons.

• Lighting Enhancements: New ceiling lighting was installed throughout the work area to improve visibility and ambiance.

• Walk-in Coolers: New walk-in coolers with roof-mounted condensers were added to support kitchen operations.

• Egress Lighting: Egress lighting was implemented to enhance safety and compliance with building codes.

• Kitchen Hood: A new kitchen hood was installed to improve ventilation and meet health and safety standards.

• Partition Wall Demolition and Construction: Existing partition walls were demolished, and new partition walls were constructed to accommodate the redesigned layout.

Challenges and Solutions

1.Energy Compliance: Ensuring the project met energy efficiency standards was a critical component. InnoDez utilized the COMcheck software to verify compliance with energy codes, ensuring the new installations were both efficient and sustainable.
