Office building design - Street view of the dynamic office building design, with an inviting ground floor that occupies the main lobby, a café and a few commercial spaces, the staggered white ribbons with composite panel cladding highlight each floor and give a modern corporate look to the office building, by InnoDez Design and Engineering.

Office Building Design and Engineering

InnoDez was tasked with theengineering for an eight-story office building in Michigan. The client wanted a design that supported the spirit of community, collaboration, engagement, and agility with the aim of providing optimal working and communication conditions for the approximately 1,600 employees working in the office.

The building is very linked to the environment and shows off its curved surfaces divided by belts of glass on each level.
The ground level accommodates a lobby, café, and several stores. A large parking lot has been designed in the basement level. Seven floors of offices rise above the ground level, cantilevering out slightly and varying in depth. Here, three infrastructural cores allow for a floor plan that can be flexibly divided into several units per floor, allowing for a versatile range of possibilities from individual offices to open-plan areas. On two top floors setbacks on the north and east side create covered terraces with views of the city.
With its dynamic façade made of glass and white composite panel cladding with no gaps, the building fits into the material and color spectrum of its surroundings.

As part of the project’s scope of work, InnoDez provided Structural Engineering and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) engineering design for the whole office.
